| Description: | Large heavy civil construction firm which provides comprehensive and innovative design/build construction services on large and complex civil infrastructure projects seeks a Structural Engineer to oversee both design and field civil construction related engineering activities. Structural Concrete and Steel construction experience is preferred!
Desired individual will have a PE license (required) and the ability and experience in the stamping of drawings. Candidate will be strong on the engineering/construction end of the business and will also have strong design capabilities. Must be comfortable both in the office and on the heavy civil job site.

| Duties: | Duties: Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Planning and coordination of various construction field execution activities within the civil discipline
Design Constructability reviews and performance improvement
Design constructability including procedures and code compliance
Stamping of drawings
Be involved in project planning stages and execution sequencing
Provides construction site engineering expertise during construction phases of project to interpret designs and adjust designs to meet various site conditions
Works with Construction, Engineering, Procurement, and Quality Control personnel in the selection of sources for and qualifications of suppliers
Works hand in hand with construction and home office engineering support in the resolution of field issues
Qualifications: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have current PE registration
Minimum of 10 years prior field engineering experience on large civil transportation/infrastructure projects involving heavy concrete and steel construction.
Must have strong design experience
Experience with managing multiple on-site projects
Must have a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Local candidates will be given first order of preference!
